July 2006 Review

Latest News

“Wagstaff & McClean” and “A Fine Woman” are now available as Amazon Shorts and have been featured on the Amazon Shorts home page. Access to these two stories from my website is still possible, although the links now take you to Amazon.com. I have also added links to the equivalent Amazon.com pages for “The Friendly Ambassador: The Beginning of the End” and “The Friendly Ambassador: A Gathering of Angels.”

PublishAmerica have declined to take on “The Friendly Ambassador: Changes.” Its a shame as the first two packages match so well, I am not sure if I can do that with another publisher, if I can get one. One possibility is Extasy Books, who might be interested and are accepting submissions at the moment. I will try them and see. Another alternative is BookSurge, the publishing arm of Amazon.com. Unlike PublishAmerica this Print On Demand publisher requires a moderate fee for their services, but you retain your rights (PA keeps the publishing rights for seven years in their contract) and you get visibility through Amazon.com. Its a tempting route, and at the moment I am trying both alternatives.

Not much else to report this month. I have been away for a while, hence the late review. Well, it is the holiday period. See you next time.
