December 2007 Christmas Review

Writing News

“The Lost Girls” has now been published by BookSurge and is available on Amazon.com here. As I had hoped, it is up and published before Christmas. So I am now working on “The Return of the Sixpack,” and as I mentioned last month, its going to be a rather fat book. Never mind, that's just the way it is.

On a totally new front, I have decided to enter some of my books for awards. Not that I think they are that marvelous, just that it would be nice to have them read and reviewed by professionals. The awards I am going to enter are the 2008 Benjamin Franklin Awards, The Eric Hoffer Award for Independent Books, and The National Indie Excellence 2008 Awards. The 2008 Benjamin Franklin Awards are run by the PMA, the Independent Book Publishers Association, which is a category that I definitely fit into for all three of these awards. The Eric Hoffer Award is run by Hopewell Publications. I am entering “The Lost Girls” to all three awards because it is the latest book I have published and because I quite like it. I am also going to enter “The Friendly Ambassador: Walking with the Enemy” to The Eric Hoffer Award, and “The Look of Love” to The National Indie Excellence 2008 Awards. Wish me luck!

Well, it will be Christmas soon, so I would like to wish you all a happy festive season. See you in 2008.
